May I Share With You My Most Intimate Feelings?

When I was a little girl, I longed for understanding. I loved getting lost in thoughts that were mine to keep. Art captivated a unique sensation always leaving me with desires of more. Poetry was my companion. My journal was my keeper. I never knew why I felt this way and as an adult, I am still finding my way through these feelings. One thing was always certain; I wanted to create art.

When I first picked up a camera a few years ago, never did I intend for this art to become a means of earning. I wholeheartedly just wanted to create portraits that made me feel. Then, I photographed my first portrait session, and I instantly knew what I wanted to concentrate on as a photographer; emotive portraiture.  But it wasn't until my third year as a photographer where I learned that Boudoir would awaken my soul.

After I completed my first Boudoir session, I felt a sense of closeness to a purpose. To tell the story of the woman in front of my lens through captivating and timeless boudoir. I passionately want my boudoir sessions to feel sacred, where a woman isn’t afraid to be who she is, express herself and celebrate her sexuality in her own terms. This purpose would fuel my vision as an artist. A rush of emotions came over me of unspoken words that only made sense as I expressed them with my subject through each frame I created. This feeling was and still is, some sort of magical euphoria. A scared and unforgettable experience. And although I am not sure I photograph beautifully, I placed myself in the very same position as I do many women.

Here I am, bare and vulnerable.

Boudoir extends to more than just taking a portrait of a woman in delicate lace lingerie. Boudoir portraiture is vulnerable. It seeks truth for both the artist and the muse. As a boudoir photographer, my heart’s desire has always been to create boudoir imagery that uplifts and inspires Women.

The connections I am able to make with Women are unforgettable. I believe that to feel the unknown is the most beautiful form of creation. Everyone has a gift within them. Something to give, a story to tell. I want to be there to capture your inner self and help tell that story. 

This is my wish for you: for you to experience a celebration of yourself like never before! To connect with whom you are on a deeper level, because you are deserving of your love.
