Have you ever wondered if you should take the plunge with a boudoir session but you weren’t sure of what that would look like? That’s OK. I am here to tell you that no one really knows. Boudoir is intimate, yes, but your boudoir session will always be unique to you. Truthfully, you can wear whatever you like and express as much as you like. The only thing that matters is that you are comfortable in your skin throughout the entire process.
Allow me to introduce you to Pam Jones. DJ Pam if you’re lucky to hear her spin magical tunes. All the way from NYC, Pam continues her journey here in Miami spinning the dopest tunes oceanside at The Standard, and the rooftop of 1Hotel to name a few. I met her a few months ago at Aesthete’s first woman’s dinner by Roxanne Bellamy and The Jewel Brand, and instantly I knew I wanted to work with her.
Pam’s natural light studio portraits portray a sense of sensuality. These are not just portraits or your average boudoir session. It’s a little bit of both. With vulnerability, sensuality, and intention present, the ingredients of a boudoir session are present. Yet, the outcome of Pam’s session was completely unique to whom she is. Can we say we are writing our own rules when it comes to creating? Um, YES! Yes we are. We guided ourselves to create images that were empowering. I asked her, “what do you want your photographs to communicate?”
and she said: femininity, growth, and freedom from insecurities.
Isn’t that why we are all here? To experience femininity, growth and freedom, all at our own time and without boundaries. This is why your portrait or boudoir session will always represent your true self.
This is part 1 of Pam’s session. The Warehouse Miami, a natural light portrait studio in Miami was our backdrop. We created for three hours! My Why…
Boudoir extends to more than just taking a portrait of a woman in delicate lace lingerie. Boudoir portraiture is vulnerable. It seeks truth for both the artist and the muse. As a boudoir photographer, my heart’s desire has always been to create boudoir imagery that uplifts and inspires Women.
The connections I am able to make with Women are unforgettable. I believe that to feel the unknown is the most beautiful form of creation. Everyone has a gift within them. Something to give, a story to tell. I want to be there to capture your inner self and help tell that story.
This is my wish for you: for you to experience a celebration of yourself like never before! To connect with whom you are on a deeper level, because you are deserving of your love.
