One of the core values behind my work is the deep desire I have to tell the stories of women that are in front of my lens. I find it to be an honorable responsibility to do so through captivating and timeless boudoir images… In this boudoir session with the beautiful Nikita, keeping things simple all while celebrating her was key. On a Wednesday morning, in a natural light filled corner of my home, Nikita and I created intentional boudoir portraits.

From Erika: “I’d like this shoot to be a tribute to my mother and the new season I’m entering in my life. I’m about to turn 30 and I feel more like my mother then ever. I am proud of the woman I am becoming and the character that my mother instilled in me and left with me forever… I’d like to look back on these photos years from now, show my own daughter and tell her about the hard days I faced then, but the beautiful lessons I learned, and the woman I was becoming.
