Maternity Portraits With A Boudoir Vibe
Sarah’s mom Dione, first reached out to me expressing her desire to gift her daughter with a portrait session. When I spoke with Sarah, she shared with me that she was pregnant with her first child and she wanted it to be documented in a timeless way. I asked her to tell me what she was looking to discover about herself during our session and she said, “I'm not JUST pregnant. I'm still a young woman.”
I am thrilled with what Sarah and I created, and though it’s been a while since we captured her session, it makes me happy to be sharing it with you finally.
Sarah’s portrait session conveys stillness and love.
While she is with child, I still see her ✨
Hi. It’s been a while… | South Florida Boudoir Photographer
Hi, it’s been a while. Like a really long time. I don’t really know what happened here. But I can try to sum it up for you (and me).
Since I last shared a boudoir session on the journal, Alexandra’s birthday boudoir session — was in April 2021. I was in the thick of gaining back a normal workflow but truly not really normal since we were opening back up due to COVID shutdown and everyone wanted a session. I have always found our relationship with water so mesmerizing, especially for Women. So every season shooting a boudoir session near the water is, somewhat, soul healing.
Why I Started | South Florida Boudoir Photographer
Believe it or not, this boudoir session of Kelly was my first ever boudoir body study captured in 35mm film, and it was published in an online boudoir journal that was founded by the incredible Martiza Tobon (who later became a dear friend of mine) called Boudoir Collective. Thank goodness for my dear friends…
The Simplicity in Portraits | Boudoir Photographer South Florida, Denice Lachapelle
Happy New Year. Being that this is my first journal post in 2020, it seems fitting to start with those words.
I wanted to start my first journal entry of 2020 by going back to the principles I embedded early on in my work, simplicity. By no means simplicity is simple…
In Her Skin, South Florida Boudoir Photographer
Being a Boudoir Photographer in South Florida can be challenging at times. The weather can easily go from a very bright sunny day, to a moody overcast rainy afternoon. You may wonder, why does the weather matter if I am shooting Boudoir portraits inside? Well, because lighting matters. Lighting will completely affect the mood of your portraits and…
