Boudoir Portraits in Miami Beach

When Connie first reached out to me, she shared with me, “I want to memorialize the woman I am becoming... in the midst of chaos comes beauty. That’s how I feel right now!” I loved to hear her say that, and I loved it even more that she wanted to memorialize her season of becoming with a portrait session. From the beginning, Connie knew that she wanted to shoot at the beach. Shooting outdoors in South Florida can present some challenges with the heat and when it comes to an intimate session like a boudoir, onlookers. But none of it phased Connie. We picked a date in December and we decided to shoot during sunrise. When the day of our shoot arrived, we woke up to low 60s degrees weather. It was one of the coldest and windiest days of December in South Florida. But my goodness did the universe reward us with a beautiful day. Although it was freezing, you really can’t tell by looking at Connie’s photos.
