Natural Light Studio Portraits, Part 2 | Portrait & Boudoir Photographer Miami, Denice Lachapelle

PAM PAM PAM.
I promised you a second post from my session with Pam Jones. Brace yourselves, because this one is full of gems and magic! These portraits were all shot in black and white 35mm film (Ilford 3200 and Fuji Acros 100). I could have photographed Pam endlessly! She made it so easy to capture her and I freaking LOVE each and every frame. I know you will too.
Ms. Jones graciously answered a few questions for me and I thought I’d share a few with you.
What made you decide to do a portrait session? I was super excited to do this shoot because I had been at a very low point. Not satisfied with my body; dealing with weight gain - not feeling pretty. Your photos were so beautiful I wanted to be captured in that way.
How did you feel during the session? Empowered. Safe. Vulnerable. Feminine. Emotional.
If you were talking to your best friend and wanted to tell her how you felt about your experience what would you say? I was super excited to do this shoot. Denice made me feel super comfortable and confident. We had good conversations - I teared up at one point, but in a good way.
In case you missed part 1 of my portrait session with Pam Jones, check it out here.
XO.
Polaroids
Bringing one of my many polaroid cameras to a portrait session is always fun. It adds to the dynamic of the shoot and allows for super fun and candid portraits.

“Denice is a fantastic photographer. Super nice, professional, sweet. Boudoir is definitely a specialty and she nails it every time. Xo!”

M Y W H Y…
Boudoir extends to more than just taking a portrait of a woman in delicate lace lingerie. Boudoir portraiture is vulnerable. It seeks truth for both the artist and the muse. As a boudoir photographer, my heart’s desire has always been to create boudoir imagery that uplifts and inspires Women.
The connections I am able to make with Women are unforgettable. I believe that to feel the unknown is the most beautiful form of creation. Everyone has a gift within them. Something to give, a story to tell. I want to be there to capture your inner self and help tell that story.
This is my wish for you: for you to experience a celebration of yourself like never before! To connect with whom you are on a deeper level, because you are deserving of your love.
XO,
