Finding Simplicity In Your Boudoir Session, Miami Boudoir Photographer

“Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.”

Leornardo da Vinci

Have you heard that saying that goes a little something like this: there is beauty in simplicity. I truly believe this. There really is beauty in simplicity. Think about it for just a moment. Simplicity is timeless. It means grace. Joy. Slow moments. The smell of rain. A smile.

One of the core values behind my work is the deep desire I have to tell the stories of women that are in front of my lens. I find it to be an honorable responsibility to do so through captivating and timeless boudoir images. For me, one of the ways to achieve this is by keeping things simple. You see, there are a lot of misconceptions about what a boudoir session is. You don’t need the sexy heels, or the pearls, the sexy lingerie, or the overly done makeup. When women come to me to have their boudoir portraits taken, they want to see themselves as they are. Raw, beautiful, real. And we achieve this by removing any distractions, and placing all the focus on you. Trust me, the result is always an unforgettable experience.

In this boudoir session with the beautiful Nikita, keeping things simple all while celebrating her was key. On a Wednesday morning, in a natural light filled corner of my home, Nikita and I created intentional boudoir portraits. Nikita, is a beautiful woman, full of strength, romance, and an unapologetic mystery that truly makes her unique. You see, Nikita and I first met on the day of our shoot. It takes courage to allow a stranger into your space and unveil your vulnerability. She instantly trusted the process. She is brave and I loved every single moment of our session. As you relive this session with me, I hope it inspires you to continue to be brave, for you, today and always.

Xx, Denice

p.s. remember to be kind to yourself.
